OpenAI ChatGPT Edu for FAS

harvard yard in the fall

As we continue to navigate the transformative landscape of generative AI, we are excited to now be able to offer ChatGPT Edu to members of the FAS for use in your Harvard work. This development is a significant step forward in the broader AI initiatives underway across FAS and in SEAS, which aim to harness the power of AI to enhance our shared teaching and research mission.

OpenAI ChatGPT Edu is an advanced version of the ChatGPT tool with enhanced security and privacy protections. This tool is designed for producing a wide array of outputs including text, images, and executable code from inputs that include text, files, or images and can be used for chatbot customization.

Eligibility and how to access

ChatGPT Edu is available to FAS, GSAS, and SEAS faculty, staff, and post-doctoral researchers, College students, GSAS PhD students, and most GSAS masters students.
